WOW

Hello blog.... so sorry I forgot you. I can not believe it has been almost a year since I last wrote. Lets see.... catch up time, but cant be too boring.
I left off last raising a lot of money for BIKE MS. THAT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!!! I was top fundraiser for the event that was held in August, on the island of Hawaii, or The Big Island. I rode 115 miles in two days on a bike in support of MS. It was AWESOME and something I will one day do again in honor of my Aunt :)
My kiddos ended their school year last year in May, we had company for a week and then headed home to the mainland for about a month. While we were home we went to Atlanta, VA, South Carolina, back to Atlanta, then out to Arizona for Fourth of July. With in a few weeks of coming home, daddy came home too!!!! We became our party of four again!!!! So exciting, military homecomings, now of course the sad part of ones homecoming is another one does unusually leave.

During our trip home to the mainland and before hubs came home from his deployment, I started selling Scentsy. So I have two kids, crafts I am working on, fundraising for MS, and a deployed husband..... I didn't think I was busy enough, so I wanted to sell Scentsy also LMAO.

Okay let me try to stop jumping all over the place here..... hubby came home in July, a week after he got home, I went from Oahu to the Big Island, rode the bike, then I came home for about four days and then we packed up, sans kids and flew to Vegas. Hubs bought a Harley while he was deployed and we had to go pick it up(sign for it) and then it would get shipped to Hawaii. So we took the trip to spend time together :) We also got very lucky to have our friends from Arizona drive out to meet us and spend the weekend with us. We had a great time!!!
After that fun trip, it was business as usual, the kids had already gone back to school, hubs went back to work, which meant he was gone again (just short trips). I continued to grow my Scentsy business and have enjoyed that every step of the way!!!

We spent the holidays together as a family, which was very nice since the past year had just been the party of three. We had company at Christmas, hubs bf came out to see us. Right after the New Year, hubs had to leave for the mainland for 6 weeks!! BOO.... but then he made it home in time to help me with the next MS Event I was working on... this years walk.... I not only raised money, but helped plan the event. He was a great help in all of this with ideas and strong arms. We got to visit with my other mom and her kids (yes that would make them my siblings) It was a great time seeing them..... all the way over here in Hawaii :)
So this actually all brings us up to March. Last year I won FREE two round trip tickets, inter island flights, at the BIKE MS event.... so Hubs and I planned a small trip to Maui!!! once again.... Sans kids.
But the trip to Maui was after our baby..... not so much a baby anymore, turned 9!!!! We had a great cook out to celebrate his life with amazing friends. On his actual birthday he was treated to Laser tag and dinner :)

SOOOOO Maui, for four days with just my hubby was AWESOME.... I had a great friend who kept my boys for me and left me worry free the whole time. We went snorkeling, whale watching, driving, eating and drinking!!! It was so relaxing. We missed our boys very much and were very happy to come home to them though.

I look forward to many new things that will be happening for us this year. The kids just started spring break and this is the last one in Hawaii..... so we will try to make it count :) Our oldest is turning 13 in 2 months, which is sad and joyous at the same time. Within the next couple of months, we will be finding out where the Army is sending us. Then in Nov, we will celebrate 10 years of marriage.
2011 is looking at being a great year. Oh I almost forgot to top it off, I might be home just in time for my nieces first birthday.... I hope so... I really do, I have missed everything and I don't want to miss that!!!!
